Aviva is a lab technician that graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelors's in Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology. In the Forger lab, she investigates how the early-life colonization of gut microbiota affects brain development. In the future, she plans to join a Ph.D. program where she can continue to study the brain and behavior. When she's not in lab, Aviva likes to go camping, spend time with her dog, and meditate.
