Throughout my collegiate career I have studied many different subjects in an attempt to find one that I am truly passionate for. After changing my mind many times I am happy to have found Neuroscience, as well as many of its sub-disciplines, to be the subject that draws my attention fully. I eagerly await my transition into a graduate program where I can continue to grow not only my personal knowledge, but also knowledge in the field of Neuroscience as a whole. It is my hope to not only make advancements in the field in my lifetime but to also obtain data that can be used as a basis for others to start from for further studies. Working in the Forger-De Vries lab has served to solidify this sentiment and has shown me that my initial feelings on working in the field were correct.
