My main research interests are neuroendocrinology and the sexual differentiation of the brain, especially the molecular mechanisms regulated by sex steroids. I obtained my PhD in Neuroscience working in the laboratory of Dr. Julia Cambiasso in Córdoba, Argentina. I investigated the role of the sex chromosome complement in the sexual differentiation of the brain. During the last year of my PhD, I had the opportunity to work in the laboratory of Dr. Luis Miguel Garcia-Segura in Madrid where we studied the role of sex chromosome genes on the sexual differentiation of hypothalamic neurons. As a postdoctoral associate in the Forger lab, I am part of the “neuroepigenetic team”. Outside of the lab, I enjoy traveling to new cities and learning about different customs and cultures, reading and spending time with my family.
